Whether You Are Buying, Selling, or Redesigning, I’m Here To Make Your Vision A Reality!
Specializing in older homes along South Carolina's beautiful Grand Strand and Low Country, I bring a unique blend of creativity and expertise to help clients find their dream homes and create spaces that feel truly their own and tell their unique story.
I've always believed everyone has a story to tell...and our stories are all told in many different ways. Your home is one of those ways.
Your home tells your story in a distinctly unique way...a way that reflects who you truly are and what you are most passionate about. It's a story of your life, your journey, your family...a collection of all you love. Your home's story is a curation of your most meaningful moments and memories...an inspiring refuge of solace and joy.
So...what's your story? And, how can your home best tell it?
That's why I'm here...so I can help you tell your unique story within the walls of your own home. Please let me know how I can help! ~Laura
Please Note: Laura resigned on July 1st, 2023 with Horry County Schools as a full-time teacher. She has become a registered substitute teacher for Horry County Schools and can be selected on the subs list through Red Rover! Teachers can also contact her directly for availability.
Bio: Laura Meyer has been teaching young people theatre for over 18 years. Theatre is Laura’s passion and helping young people realize their unique creative talent and potential gives her immense joy!
Originally hailing from Virginia, Laura moved to the Grand Strand in 2014 where she taught theatre for 8 years at St. James High School in Murrells Inlet.
Laura was the first ever (in the 20 year history of St. James High School Drama Dept) that led her casts to 3 consecutive "Superior" wins (the highest award possible) at the yearly Palmetto Dramatic Association State High School Theatre Festival. She also won numerous other individual acting and technical awards.
Laura graduated with a degree in Drama from the University of Virginia where she acted in, directed, and designed numerous shows.
She has worked at several professional theatres, including Williamstown Theatre Festival, North Shore Music Theatre, Summer Theatre at Mount Holyoke College, Mill Mountain Theatre, and the Academy of Fine Arts, working alongside several Broadway and film actors, directors, and designers, including James Noone, Joanne Woodward, Richard Kind, Tate Donovan, Eric Stoltz, and Jenny Bacon.
One of the highlights of her career was working on Children of Eden, a musical by Stephen Schwartz (composer and lyricist of Wicked, Pippin, and Godspell), in which she was able to meet with Mr. Schwartz and to work alongside Tony Award-winning costume designer, Gregg Barnes.
Just a few of her many directing and design credits include The Diviners, Dancing at Lughnasa, Trifles, Alice in Wonderland, The Emperor’s New Clothes, and Trojan Women.
She has also worked with a diverse array of students in writing and producing several original works, both plays and performance art pieces, helping students realize they can make a difference in this world through the beauty and magic of theatre.
When she is not doing theatre, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends, interior designing, creating original home décor, painting, antiquing, reading, writing, traveling and being outdoors.
After over 20 years as a dedicated teacher in the public school system, I transitioned my passion for design and houses into a career as an Interior Designer Decorator and Real Estate Agent.
